I can’t remember a time when I was less than 100kg’s. I’ve always been big. It’s just been the different numbers on the scale. But there was an ‘enough’ moment for me when I hopped on my scales and read that I was 113.9kg.
I knew that something had to change…
The next ‘enough’ moment was my first fitness test, The dreaded Beep Test. I couldn’t even run for 2 minutes. I was embarrassed and ashamed but thankfully it was only Cory and I there. I can’t even remember exactly what he said, but whatever it was, stopped me from walking away and giving up before I even started. That first session was a real eye opener for me.
Slowly but surely I’ve lost over 25kg with more to go. I am happier, healthier and more confident than I have been in a long time. I know my life is better for having met Cory Hearn. I couldn’t do it without his help. He is awesome at what he does and I am thankful every day.
It’s been a lot of hard work but it’ll be worth it in the end. No matter what happens now I’m glad I had the courage to go to that first ever session.

Cory Hearn was highly recommended for child/rehab personal training to me from a couple of gym owners in town. My 12 year old son, Emil, who is a footballer and soccer player had been plagued with injury this year!
The main reason for training was to build strength back in his injured areas, keep him fit and have him feeling good about himself. Emil is the kind of kid you can tell one hundred times that he is great but he still doesn't believe it. Since training with Cory, his attitude was the first thing to change. he went from saying saying 'I can't do this' to 'hey, check me out' very quickly.
With no mention of diet, Emil took it upon himself to change some of his negative eating habits (that all kids have) as he had this extra drive to succeed.
What impressed me most about Emil's training is that he is only using his bodyweight so there is no added pressure on his growing body.
He has lost a healthy amount of weight, his recovery time from injury is far shorter than normal and he is so much more agile on the field.

I’ve been attending Cory Hearn’s Personal Training, Functional Training, Kettle Bell Classes and Kick Boxing sessions for roughly 9 months now and I absolutely love all of them!
Each week I do a Kick Boxing, a Personal Training Session and 2 Functional Training sessions, you could say I am ADDICTED. Each week my Personal Training Sessions are catered to my fitness goals, whether it is to lift a certain weight or smash out so many burpees within a time frame. They are always challenging and I never leave feeling like I’ve archived nothing.
As a trainer Cory is extremely knowledgeable and encouraging. He is talented in so many different areas of Fitness and Health. He has helped me to not only keep smashing my fitness goals but to believe that I can push myself that little bit harder and not to give up as soon as the mind caves in. To be happy with how far I have come and not to see how hard something is as a negative but as an achievable challenge.

I have trained with Cory Hearn for the past two years now. Originally wanting to lift weights, and gain muscle.

Before training with Cory I was stuck in a rut. I hated going to the gym and I especially hated any cardio related work out unless it was walking!
Then I met Cory and my mindset completely changed. I can now happily say I love exercising and find it fun. I have a new found love for cardio, especially everyone's dreaded burpee. I love running and have now completed not only a 10km fun run but also a 20km 'Tough Mudder' event.

From my very first training session with Cory he has made me feel so comfortable and respected. I started off very unfit carrying extra weight which I obviously wanted to lose. Cory is very good at motivating you to keep going even if you think can’t and because of this, I have managed to move that extra weight and tone up big time!
Day one, I struggled to jog 400m and hated burpees, now after just over a year of functional training, kickboxing and kettlebell sessions with Cory, I can manage 400m with ease and can burpee all day. I even had 2 months off for surgery, which Cory was so understanding and helpful at easing me back into exercise with PT sessions.
